Bernard H. Underwood UNDERWOOD, BERNARD H., 85, of Louisville, passed away Monday, March 8, 2010.
He retired from American Cellophane, was an Army veteran of World War II and a member of New Salem Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Betty and Clarence Underwood; brother, Orville Underwood; and sister, Janice Underwood Paul.
He is survived by his wife, Fay Underwood; daughter, Mary Ann Shepherd; grandchildren, Chrystal, Ricky and Jennifer Stansberry; great-grandchildren, Ashley and Maria; and brother, Wilbard Underwood.
There will be a graveside service at 2 p.m. at Friday at Louisville Memorial Gardens, West. Visitation will be Friday after 10 a.m. at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Highway.
