Bernetta Kathleen Judd JUDD, BERNETTA KATHLEEN, 83, of Bowling Green, KY was born November 24, 1926 and died Friday, April 16, 2010.
She was born in London, KY to the late James Preston Lichliter and Lillian Jones Lichliter. She was a loving and devoted mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She was a member of Beechland Baptist Church in Louisville. She loved music and was an active member of the Kentucky Blues Society. She formerly lived in Greensburg, KY with her husband, Dr. Herman Judd, where they raised their children before moving to Louisville and then to Bowling Green in 2006.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Dr. Herman Judd; and sister, Marjorie Loy.
Survivors: daughter, Kay Clark (Mike), Bowling Green; son, William D. Judd (Jackie), Framingham, MA; granddaughter, Shae South (Scott), Bowling Green; eight great-grandchildren, Hunter Shelton, Halle Shelton, Hayden Shelton, Hannah South, Conner South, Mason South, Madison South and Ethan South; and several cousins.
Funeral: 1 p.m. EST Monday at O.D. White Funeral Home, 2727 S. 3rd St., Louisville, with burial in Louisville Memorial Gardens West in Louisville. Visitation: 2-5 p.m. CST Sunday at J.C. Kirby & Son Lovers Lane Chapel, 820 Lovers Lane, Bowling Green and 11 a.m.-1 p.m. EST Monday at O.D. White Funeral Home.
