Bernice Jane (Beetem) Scott SCOTT, BERNICE JANE (BEETEM), 79, widow of Billy Scott, passed away Saturday, March 13, 2010.
Born in Carroll County, KY, she was the daughter of the late John Morriss and Thelma Beetem. She was a member of First Cumberland Presbyterian Church, Queen Esther OES and Ahrens Trade High School Alumni Association. She was a school bus driver with Jefferson County Public Schools for 31 years.
She is survived by her children, Darrel Scott, Debra Shanks (Roy) and Kevin Scott; brother, John Beetem; seven grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at First Cumberland Presbyterian Church, 4610 Manslick Road, with burial to follow in Louisville Memorial Gardens West. Visitation will be 2-8 p.m. Monday at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Highway and from 9 a.m. Tuesday to the time of service at church. Memorial contributions are suggested to her church .
