Bessie Adcock

Moppins ADCOCK, BESSIE MOPPINS, 91, passed away Saturday, May 26, 2007 at Baptist East Palliative Care Unit. She was retired from the old St. Anthony's Hospital. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Joseph Warren Adcock; and her children, Beulah and Lee Adcock. She is survived by her children, Robert (Sandy), Joseph (Carol) Adcock and Joanie Williams (Don); daughter-in- law, Beverly Cole-Adcock; 20 grandchildren; 23 great- grandchildren; and eight great-great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at noon on Thursday in the chapel of Arch L. Heady-Cralle Funeral Home, 2428 Frankfort Ave., with interment at Louisville Memorial Gardens East. Visitation will be 2-8 Wednesday and after 10 a.m. Thursday. We are grateful for all of mother's grandchildren, and especially Patti and Cathi, who assisted in her care.
