She was the former Bessie Shaw, a native of Monroe County, KY, and a Baptist by faith. She was preceded in death by her husband, John W. Waters. She is survived by her daughter, Norma Holt (Clarence); three grandchildren, Carol Bynum, Greg A. Holt and Bradley E. Holt; and eight great-grandchildren. Funeral service for Mrs. Waters will be noon Monday at Arch L. Heady & Son, Okolona with burial in Louisville Memorial Gardens West. Visitation will be 2-8 p.m. Sunday.
