BRATCHER, BETTY CALPH, 90, of Louisville, passed away on Tuesday, June 22, 2010.
She was a retired elementary school teacher in Jefferson County and a member of Valley View Baptist Church.
Betty volunteered several years at Southwest Hospital and Park Terrace Health Care Center.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Hobert Bratcher; parents, John and Margaret Calph; one sister, Mary Kimsey; stepchildren, Joyce DeHerrera, Jackie Walters and Ronnie Bratcher.
Survivors include one sister, Virginia Miyamoto; stepson, Melvin Bratcher; daughter-in-law, Faye Bratcher; son-in-law, Lou DeHerrera; grandchildren, Jeff and Patricia Bratcher and Jimmy and Teresa Bratcher; great-grandchildren, David Mora, Johnny Walters, Victor Vojtko, Mike DeHerrera, Brittany, Meghan, and Brooke Bratcher; niece, Pam Donahue, and nephews, Lee Kimsey and Jack Miyamoto.
Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Friday, June 25, 2010 at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Highway, with burial in Louisville Memorial Gardens West. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. -2 p.m. Friday. Condolences to owenfuneralhome.com.
