CARPENTER, BETTY J., 71, of Louisville, passed away Monday, May 14, 2012 at Sts. Mary & Elizabeth Hospital.

She was a former member of the old St. Clements Catholic Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul C. Carpenter Sr.; a son, Paul C. Carpenter Jr.; and a daughter, Elizabeth Carpenter.

Survivors include a daughter, Tiffany McCune (Billy Hopper); sons, Mike Carpenter (Angela Williams) and Mark Carpenter (Stacy); a brother, Richard Collins; daughter-in-law, Laura Carpenter; seven granddaughters; and one great-grandson.

Her funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Heady-Hardy Funeral Home, 7710 Dixie Hwy., followed by entombment at Louisville Memorial Gardens West. Visitation will be 2-8 p.m. Tuesday.
