Betty J. Cooper, 86, wife to the late Robert L. Copper, passed away on Monday June 19, 2017 at Sts. Mary & Elizabeth Hospital. She is also preceded in death by her daughter, Kay Cooper.
Betty was a former office manager for Michael Burke Plumbing, a member of New Salem Baptist Church, and she volunteered leading music for the residents at South Oaks Senior Housing.
She is survived by her son, Robert Cooper (Joyce), along with grandchildren, Andrew, Lyle, Beth, Justin, and 12 great-grandchildren
Funeral services will be held on Friday at 2:00 pm at New Salem Baptist Church, 6408 Bethany Lane, Louisville, KY 40272. Visitation will be Thursday from 11:00 until 8:00 pm at Louisville Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, 4400 Dixie Highway.
