Betty Miller, 84, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on June 11, 2022. She was born on March 26, 1938, in McKinnon, Tennessee, to the late James Elbert and Macy L. (Bradley) Mobley.
Betty was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Roy Miller; her granddaughter, Abigail Dixon; her sisters, Lucy Mobley Scott and Annie Mobley; and her brothers, Jim Mobley, Jr., Bill Mobley and Ray Mobley.
Left to cherish the memory of Betty’s life is her son, Daniel Miller (Marjennia); her granddaughters, Rebecca Claycomb and Amanda Harvey; four great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
Betty was a homemaker, always taking care of her family and a dedicated former Sunday School teacher at Hillsdale Baptist Church. She had a love for music, singing in Alto, and it brought her immense peace during her final days. Betty loved the outdoors and enjoyed fishing, along with feeding birds and squirrels. Betty loved to do crafting and would crochet many beautiful pieces. She could often be found at flea markets and loved the state fair every year.
A funeral service to celebrate Betty’s life will be held on Friday, June 17, 2022, at 1PM, at Louisville Memorial Gardens Funeral Home West, 4400 Dixie Highway. Friends may call on Friday from 11AM until service time at the funeral home.
