Betty Carol Peters

Betty Carol Peters, 82, passed peacefully at home on Monday, December 2, 2024. 

Born in Logan County, Kentucky, Betty worked in Louisville for many years in the banking industry. She loved holidays, especially Thanksgiving, and always remembered everyone's birthday. Kids and dogs were her greatest joys, and seeing pictures of her great grandchildren would always lift her spirits. 

Betty is survived by two sons, Dean (Patty) and Ron (Barbara); a daughter, Karen (Larry) Seyler; 12 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; brothers Gary (Theresa), Mike (Bonnie), and David; sisters Judy, Sherry (Tom) Gant, and Peggy Holt; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Betty was preceded in death by her loving husband, Ronald; son Brian; brothers Jim, Paul Kenneth, and Don; her sister Gayle; and her beloved parents Russell and Ruby Dillihay Pirtle. 

A service celebrating the life of Betty will be held at 2:00pm Monday, December 9, 2024 at Louisville Memorial Gardens West. A visitation will be held on Monday, December 9, 2024 from 12:00pm until time of service.
