Betty Poggenborg

Betty Jane Poggenborg, 89, passed away on March 4, 2022. She was born on January 7, 1933 to the late James A. Geiger, Sr. and Mary Bingham Geiger. Betty was a faithful Christian who enjoyed doing crafts, working puzzles and UK basketball. Most of all she loved her family and spending time with her grandchildren.

Betty was preceded in death by her husband Raymond, sons Terry and Larry Bauder, granddaughter Brittany Bauder, brother Art Geiger and sister Rosemary Geiger.

Betty is survived by her children, Barry Bauder (Kim), Gary Bauder (Patti), Karen Munn (Dennis), her six grandchildren, Jessica Bauder, Daniel Bauder, Jamie Potts, Philip Munn, Melissa Harris and Kristie Bauder-West, 13 great grandchildren and her brother Buz Geiger.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday March 9, 2022 at 12:00 Noon, at Louisville Memorial Gardens Funeral Home. Visitation will be on Tuesday from 4:00 to 7:00 pm and on Wednesday from 10:00 until time of services at the funeral home.
