Betty Sawrie

December 22, 1930 — October 31, 2010

Betty Jean Sawrie, 79, passed away Sunday October 31, 2010. She was a member of Barcelona Road Baptist Church.
Two brothers; Bill and Tommy Gateley precede Betty Jean in death. She is survived by her loving husband Clifford E. Sawrie, four sons; Jim Sawrie (Jane Ann), Joe Sawrie, David Sawrie (Kathy) and Mark Sawrie, one sister Lucille Hutto, nine grandchildren; Jacqueline Ann Sawrie, Jamie Christine Freed (David), Jessica Lynne Sawrie, Joe Sawrie Jr. (Stacey), Chris Powers, Zach Powers (Mollie), Ryan Sawrie (Katie), Kevin Sawrie and Travis Sawrie. Betty Jean is also survived by five great grandchildren; Kaitlyn, Kristen, Maya, Zoey and Sydney.

A service for Betty Jean will be 2 p.m. Saturday November 6, 2010 at Louisville Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, 4400 Dixie Highway, Louisville, Ky. Visitation will be at 12:30 pm prior to the service.
An additional memorial service will be held in Hot Springs Village, Arkansas November 20th at 11:00 am at Barcelona Road Baptist Church.
