White, Frances (Clark),92, passed away peacefully on Friday December 12, 2014 at Baptist Health Louisville Palliative Care Unit.She was born in Central City, Kentucky, daughter of the late Rhea and Florine Clark on July 25, 1922.After the death of her father, she lived at the Masonic Home in Louisville with her sister and brother. She had many fond memories of her time there. She graduated from Shawnee High School.She was a sales clerk at the original Otto Drug Store on Southside Drive. She also worked alongside her husband, Carl, in several family businesses. For twenty-five years, she was a volunteer at Baptist Health Louisville. She loved to do needlepoint.Besides her parents, Frances was preceded in death by her step-father Joy Jamison, her husband Carl R. White, her son Thomas R. White, Sr., her sister Oleta Foley, and her brother Ben Rhea Clark.She is survived by her son Gerald C. "Jerry" White (Cathy) of Louisville; granddaughters Erin C. White of Louisville and Stasia H. White of Florida; grandsons T. Roger White, Jr. (Christina) of Miami, Florida and Carl R. White, II ( Marcie) of Lousiville; great-grandchildren Tommy III, Tyler, and Juliana White of Miami, Florida and Ronin White of Louisville; and several nieces and nephews.Visitation will be at Ratterman Funeral Home at 3711 Lexington Road on Monday from 2-8 p.m. with a funeral service at Ratterman's on Tuesday at 10 a.m. Interment will be at Louisville Memorial Gardens West 4400 Dixie Highway.Expressions of sympathy may be made to the Palliative Care Unit of Baptist Health Louisville.
