Fey, Bill View/Sign Guest Book Donate Now FEY, BILL, 78, entered into eternal life and was reunited with his loving wife, Janet, November 18, 2008, surrounded by his family. He was born William Thomas Fey on February 17, 1930, to the late Sam and Laura Fey. The youngest of eight children, raised on a farm, grew up in the St. Denis Community and attended St. Denis Church. Bill always recalled many fond memories of his youth, especially those times with family, friends, and "fast cars". Bill's never-ending work ethic and endless talents accomplished many of his dreams. He was never afraid to lend a hand and his big heart and generosity touched many lives. Bill loved his family and he showed it, he loved life and enjoyed it. He was the very proud owner, operator, and developer of Lazy Acres Mobile Home Park, established in 1964, a real estate investor, retired building contractor, and an Army veteran. Dad leaves to cherish his memories, his daughter, Gloria Boyd (Bruce); son, Tom Fey; sisters, Mildred Bramer and Mary Jane Brand; five grandchildren, Todd Boyd (Erica), Laura Bratten (Jeremy), Holly Thompson (Chris), Melissa Johnson (K.J.), Billy Fey (Amanda); and 10 great-grandchildren. Service will be 10 a.m. Saturday at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Highway, with burial in Louisville Memorial Gardens, West. Visitation will be 2-8 p.m. Thursday and noon-8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
