ALLEN, BIVEN FRAZIER JR., 84, of Rineyville, KY, formerly of Louisville, passed away Sunday, August 26, 2007, at Rockford Manor Nursing Home in Louisville. He served in the United States Army. He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Maxine (Sanders) Allen. He is survived by two daughters, Sandra Hardin (Mike), and JoAnn McClellan (Jim), both of Louisville; three grandchildren; and six great- grandchildren. A special thanks to Martha, Elmer, and Terry Doyle. Arrangements are being handled by Bruington-Jenkins-Sturgeon Funeral Home in Brandenburg, KY, where the family will receive friends from 2-9 p.m. Tuesday and after 9 a.m. Wednesday. Funeral service will be at the funeral home at 11 a.m. Wednesday, with interment to follow in Louisville Memorial Gardens West.
