WOOD, BLANCHE M. (GIBSON), 92, passed away Friday June 24, 2011 at Summerfield Health & Rehabilitation.
She was a member of Beechland Baptist Church for over 30 years and was a former church secretary for several churches.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene T. Wood.
Survivors include her son, Eugene "Gene" G. Wood; grandchildren, Raemi and Austin Wood; niece, Cecilia Atherton; and caretaker, Tim Logsdon.
Her funeral will be 1 p.m. Wednesday at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Hwy. Burial is in Louisville Memorial Gardens West. Visitation will be 1-3 and 5-8 p.m. Tuesday. Online condolences at owenfuneralhome
