Brenda Arlene Howard

Brenda Arlene Howard, 76, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away peacefully on September 13, 2024. Born on October 4, 1947, to the late Sylvester and Irene Gribbins, Brenda lived a full and vibrant life, touching the hearts of those around her. She was a dedicated employee at General Electric for many years, building both a career and lasting friendships.

Brenda had a passion for life that extended beyond her work. She found joy in riding motorcycles, cheering on the UK basketball team, spending relaxing days by the lake, and showing unconditional love to her cherished dogs. Brenda's kind heart and spirit were especially felt by her family, who were the center of her world.

She is lovingly remembered by her daughter, Connie Casady (Rocky); her brother, Douglas Gribbins; her grandchildren, Tiffany Pugliese (Mike) and Rocky Allen Jr. (Ashley); and her great-grandchildren, Krista Sullivan (Jesse) and Kylee Pugliese. Brenda took immense pride in her family, and her memory will live on in the hearts of those who loved her.

Brenda was a courageous fighter, having survived both brain and lung cancer. She now reunites in heaven with her parents, her brothers and their wives, and her beloved fur babies, Sassy and Sofia, who brought her so much joy during her life.

Family and friends are invited to celebrate Brenda’s life at Louisville Memorial Gardens West, with visitation on Wednesday, September 18, 2024, from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm, and again on Thursday, September 19, 2024, from 11:00 am until 2:00 pm. The funeral service will follow at 2:00 pm.

Brenda will be deeply missed but forever remembered by those whose lives she touched with her warmth, strength, and love.
