Carline Smith SMITH, CARLINE, 89, passed away on Saturday morning, February 27, 2010.
He was a retired carpenter and faithful member of Shively Christian Church. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II. He is preceded in death by his wife, Athylene Smith.
Survivors include sons, David Smith and Darrell Smith (Marcia); daughter, Darla Pomeroy (Tom); grandchildren, Dana, Kyle and Amanda Smith, Leighann Brown and Marshall Pomeroy; great-grandchildren, Andrew and Makayla; and sister, Jewell Fey.
Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Hwy., with entombment at Louisville Memorial Gardens, West. Visitation will be Monday, 3-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
