Wilson, Carl Clifton View/Sign Guest Book WILSON, CARL CLIFTON, 86, of Louisville, passed away, Thursday, February 26, 2009, at his daughter's home in Pelham, AL. He was a native of Edmonson County, one of 10 children of Effie and Everett Wilson. He was an Army combat veteran of World War II and a member of Rockford View United Baptist Church. He retired from Louisville Tin & Stove where he was a supervisor in wholesale parts distributing. He is survived by his daughter, Leda Hopper (Glenn); grandchildren, Carl Hopper and Jason Hopper (Julie); great-grandchildren, Braxton and Nikki Hopper; brother, Gaythel Wilson; and many beloved nieces and nephews. His service will be 1 p.m. Monday at Rockford View United Baptist Church, 2511 Wilkerson Avenue, with burial in Louisville Memorial Gardens, West. Visitation will be Sunday 4-8 p.m. at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Highway. Published in The Courier-Journal on 2/28/2009
