Carol Gosling

GOSLING, CAROL ANN, 79, of Louisville, passed from this life on Monday, February 24, 2014. She was the former Carol Ann Bromley, a retired bookkeeper for the Jefferson County public schools, a long time member of St. James Church and she enjoyed her Tuesday and Thursday card club. She was preceded in death by her husband Herbert Gosling. She leaves to cherish her memory her daughters, Kathryn Donahue (Patrick), Vicki Duvall, and Susan Brandt; a son, Thomas Gosling (Leisha); sisters, Barbara Smith and Dorothy Leach; seven grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and her best friend of over 50 years, Michael Ann Kappesser. A service to celebrate Mrs. Gosling's life will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at St. James Church, 3535 Taylor Blvd., with interment to follow in Louisville Memorial Gardens West. Visitation will be Wednesday from 11 a.m. until the time of service at the church. Memorial gifts may be made to Hosparus of Louisville. The family is in the care of the Southern Chapel of Arch L.
