Carolyn J. Roberts

Carolyn J. Roberts, 66, passed away on February 14, 2023. She was born in Wheeling, West Virginia to the late Theodore and Janet Vert Roberts. Carolyn received an Undergraduate degree from the University of Kentucky in Elementary and Special Education, a Masters and Rank 1 from the University of Louisville. Carolyn spent 26 years teaching in elementary and special needs. She taught at Willoughby Special Needs School, Minors Lane Elementary School, Fairdale Elementary School and Audubon Traditional Elementary School. After a long career she retired from JCPS. She was a member of the Jefferson County Teachers Association and Valley Woman’s Club and also volunteered with Metro United Way.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Deborah Roberts. She is survived by her brother, Dale Roberts and his wife Esther, and her aunt Elaine Vert.

Services for Carolyn were private for immediate family.
