Carolyn Sharp

Sharp, Carolyn Joy View/Sign Guest Book SHARP, CAROLYN JOY, 62, passed away Saturday, July 14, 2007. She was born January 13, 1945. Even though she was injured severely and left disabled by a car accident 29 years ago, Carolyn maintained a close and loving relationship with her two daughters, Sherry Kay Sharp, who was also her primary caregiver, and Sharon Kimberly Sand (Rick); grandchildren, Christin, Kenny and Laura French, Kinsey Keys and Cayman Sharp, who were all the apples of her eye. Though divorced 39 years ago from her only husband, E.T. Sharp, she maintained a close lifelong friendship with him. While limited in her ability to get around, she loved to cook anything, anywhere, anytime. The music and culture of the 60's often brought her pleasure as did her three dogs, Ozzie, Star and Tata. The family gives special thanks to neighbors, Ricky and Lori Basham, Sherry and Mike Ray and niece, Pam Jarrett. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Thursday at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Highway with entombment to follow in Louisville Memorial Gardens West. Visitation will be 4-9 p.m. Wednesday.
