SCHABLIK, CARRIE M., 81, of Louisville, passed away Monday, January 10, 2011 at her home.
She was a member of Faith Chapel Baptist Church.
Carrie was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She will be remembered for her fun loving sense of humor and love of life. Her family was her life. She enjoyed the giving of herself for her family and friends and will be missed by them all.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 47 years, Fred V. Schablik Sr., and daughter, Lois White.
She is survived by her sons, Fred V. Schablik Jr. (Thanumas) and Bruce W. Schablik (Theresa); daughter, Sharon Cockerel (Ken); brother, William H. Minton; sister, Betty J. Shepherd; half brothers, Jerald and Ronald Bond; half sister, Patti Roulette; eight grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
Her funeral service will be 1 p.m. Thursday at J.B. Ratterman & Sons-Grand Chapels, 4832 Cane Run Road, with burial at Louisville Memorial Gardens West. Visitation will be 2 8 p.m. on Wednesday.
