Carson Bratcher

Bratcher, Carson "Bill" BRATCHER, CARSON "BILL," 81, of Louisville, passed away Friday, June 22, 2007 at his home with family at his side. He was retired from the Naval Ordnance, World War II Army veteran, a member of the Highland Park Masonic Lodge #865, VFW Millcreek Post #5421, and Rockford Lane Baptist Church. He is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Grace Bratcher; daughters, Martha Povesis, and Debbie Carothers; sons, Mike Bratcher (Sonia) and Gary Bratcher; grandchildren, Jeremy, Travis, Jamie, Chris, and Ben; great- grandchildren, Caleb and Derrik; brother, Delmar Bratcher (Alice); and sisters, Sue Reed (Dave) and Dorris Robards. His funeral service will be 1 p.m. Monday, June 25, 2007 at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Hwy. with burial to follow in Louisville Memorial Gardens West. Visitation will be from 2-9 p.m. Sunday and 10 a.m. -1 p.m. Monday. Memorial gifts may be made to American Cancer Society and/or Hospice of Louisville.
