JEFFERSONVILLE - FRENCH, CATHERINE, 94, passed away on Wednesday, May 12, 2010 at Lincoln Hills Nursing Home.
Catherine was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She retired after many years of being a bookkeeper and was an avid walker.
She is survived by her son, Gary French and his wife, Mary of New Albany, IN; three grandsons, Gregory L. French and his wife, Beki of Amarillo, TX, Brian J. French and his wife, Melissa of Memphis, IN and John C. French of New Albany; and four great-grandchildren, Jocelyn, Dillon, Kaitlin and Brooke French.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert H. French; and her parents, Joseph and Tempie LaChat.
Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, May 15, 2010 at Scott Funeral Home's North Chapel, with burial in Louisville Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be on Friday from 4-7 p.m. at Scott Funeral Home's North Chapel.
Contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society . Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
