Strange, Catherine P. View/Sign Guest Book STRANGE, CATHERINE P., 86, of Louisville, passed away Monday September 17, 2007 at her residence. She was the former Catherine Carter, a native of Breckinridge County, KY, a 65-year member of Southside Baptist Church, and the Golden Age Club. She was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years Clyde E. Strange. She is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law, Judy and Dick Walsh and Sherrill and Val Bere; sons and daughters-in-law, Gary and Diana Strange, Allan and Donna Strange and Neal Strange; a brother, Odea Carter; 15 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. A celebration of Mrs. Strange's life will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday at the Southern Home of Arch L. Heady & Son, 3601 Taylor Blvd., with burial to follow in Louisville Memorial Gardens West. Visitation will be from 2-8 p.m. Wednesday and after 10 a.m. Thursday. Memorial gifts may be made to WHAS Crusade For Children.
