Catherine Wafford

WAFFORD, CATHERINE MAXINE (POLLOCK), 90, passed away May 24, 2014. She was well known for Momma Wafford's coleslaw, a homemaker and a Catholic by faith. She is preceded in death by her husband of 65 years Harrison B. Wafford Jr.; two sons Harold and Kenny Wafford. She is survived by two daughters Martha Ashby and Doris Shoemaker (Warren); two sons Barry Wafford (Donna) and Ronnie Wafford (Mary); nine grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren; three sisters Monnie Clompton, Eula Mattingly and Lorene Whitworth. Funeral service will be Tuesday at 2 p.m. at Owen Funeral Home 5317 Dixie Highway with burial in Louisville Memorial Gardens (West). Visitation will at the funeral home Monday 2-8 p.m. Donations can be made to the activities fund at Park Terrace, and a special thanks to all the staff at Park Terrace.
