Parrott, Cecil Jr.,passed away peacefully at home on Monday morning, May 4, 2015. Cecil was born September 11, 1933 in Central City, KY, the son of the late Lucille and Cecil Parrott, Sr.Cecil worked at A&P Warehouse, spent 13 years at S&S tools and retired from (but recently returned to work) for Brown Bros. Cadillac. He will long be remembered for his play and all of his "tinkerin" toys. He loved to build and fly remote control airplanes and kept a vast variety of bikes, scooters, mini bikes, motorcycles and go-carts on hand at all times for "the kids."Cecil was preceded in death by his wife, Jackie; son in law, Harold Douglas; and grandson, Rusty Douglas.He is survived by his daughters, Pam Aldridge and Beverly Douglas; sons, Timothy Parrott (Valerie) and Jack Bell. Cecil was a very proud Papaw and leaves behind six granddaughters, Tabitha, Joy, Jennifer, Jenny, Brooke and Kayte Jo; five grandsons, Lee, Barton, Bradley, Zachary and Johnny; 31 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren. He is also survived by special family, two sisters, Carol (Perry) Mulkins and Bell(Bob) Stover and Worden Wilder.Services will be held at the W.G. Hardy Funeral Home, 10907 Dixie Hwy at 10am Friday with burial in Louisville Memorial Gardens West. Visitation will be on Thursday from 2-8pm at the funeral home.
