Ferris, Charlene Baker,
90 was born January 10, 1924 to the late Rupert and Elizabeth Davis Baker and returned to her Heavenly Father September 6, 2014.
Mrs. Ferris was a member of Kenwood Church of Christ and a former secretary for the Pentagon and the White House.
Among those who preceded her in death include eight of her siblings and her parents.
She leaves to cherish her memory her beloved husband of 67 years, Ray Ferris; daughters, Marilyn Ferris and Donna Manz (Alan); son, Jim Ferris (Tammy); sister, Alvern Bancheek; brothers, James Thomas and Meredith Baker; seven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren, a host of other family and friends.
Funeral service will be held noon Saturday at Schoppenhorst Underwood and Brooks (Preston Highway at Brooks Road and use John Harper entrance) with interment in Louisville Memorial Gardens West. Friends may pay their respects from 4-8 p.m. Friday at Schoppenhorst.
