ALFRED, CHARLES R., 89, of Louisville, passed away Friday, November 4, 2011.
He was a retired installer for Jeridon Floor Covering and a Navy veteran of World War II.
He is survived by his wife, Marian J. Harrell Alfred; children, Sharon Beam (Don), Tony Alfred (Deborah), Virginia "Ginger" Ottersbach (Bruce), and Kelly Ottersbach (Jimmy); 12 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and several nieces and nephews.
His funeral service will be 10 a.m. Monday at Heady-Hardy Funeral Home, followed by burial in Louisville Memorial Gardens West. Visitation will be noon-8 p.m. Sunday. Please visit www.headyhardy.com for further information.
