Charles C. "Charlie" Bott Sr. ShareE-mail Visit Guest Book BOTT, CHARLES C. "CHARLIE" SR., 91, passed away Wednesday, April 29, 2009 in the Hosparus unit at Norton Healthcare Pavilion. He was a member of the Iron Workers Local 70, Rat Racers of Louisville (Dance Club), an Army veteran and former parishioner of St. Simon & Jude Catholic Church and St. Matthias Catholic Church. He is survived by his children, Shirley Kaelin (Ed), Jan Schureck, Judy Eichenberger (Eugene), Charles "Sonny" Bott Jr., David Bott (Gail) and Michael Bott (Amanda); nine grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; and his special friend, Gladys Warnken. His funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday at J. E. Ratterman & Son, 7336 Southside Dr., with entombment in Louisville Memorial Gardens-West. Visitation is 2-8 p.m. Monday. Expressions of sympathy may be made to the St. Vincent DePaul Society or Crusade for Children.
