Charles Conver

Charles M. CONVER, CHARLES M., 86, of Louisville, KY, passed away on Saturday, May 5, 2007 at Baptist East Nursing Home. Formerly of the Washington D.C. area, he was a member of the Westport Road Baptist Church for the last eight years. He retired from the U.S. Government Services after 37 years and 15 years as a teacher of the Viers Mill Day Care in Silver Spring, MD. Preceded in death by his parents, Edwin and Bertha Conver of Columbus, OH; a sister, Fern Howard of Columbus, OH; and a brother, Edwin Jr. of New York. Survived by wife, Marion F. Conver; four sons; four daughters-in-law; 12 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Also survived by one sister; one sister- in-law; and two brothers-in-law. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. on Tuesday at the Westport Road Baptist Church, 9705 Westport Road. Burial will be in Louisville Memorial Gardens East. Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. on Monday, May 7, 2007 at the Arch L. Heady Funeral Home at 7410 Westport Road. There will also be a memorial celebration at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, May 19, 2007 at the Westport Road Baptist Church. In place of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made to Alzheimer's Association of America or to the Youth Mission Fund of the Westport Road Baptist Church.
