COOK, CHARLES E. "BUD," 88, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, May 19, 2013.
He was retired from L.G. and E., an Army veteran of World War II, and a member of Beechland Baptist Church.
He is preceded in death by his wife of 53 years, Ella Ruth Cook.
Survivors include daughters, Pam Panter (Gordon) and Brenda Leon (Pete); and son, Charles E. Cook Jr. (Lorraine); grandchildren, Angie Decker (Jeff), Chad Shake, Cassidy and Charles Cook; and four sisters.
Funeral services will be Thursday 11 a.m. at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Highway, with burial in Louisville Memorial Gardens (West). Visitation will be Wednesday from 1 p.m. until 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
