Eirk Jr., Charles R. "Speedy" View/Sign Guest Book EIRK, CHARLES R. "SPEEDY" JR., 64, of Louisville, died Wednesday, July 25, 2007 at Sts. Mary & Elizabeth hospital. He was a retired iron worker for Local #70. He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles Eirk Sr. and Doris Y. Needy; and a sister, Sandy Needy. Survivors include his daughters, Theresa Gail Edmonson and Marcella Eirk; sister, Sharon Powers; uncle, Paul Young; and nephews, Justin and Travis Powers. Cremation was chosen. Memorial visitation: 5-8 p.m. Monday at Keenan's Funeral Home, 4724 Dixie Hwy. (at Rockford Lane). Memorial gifts to: American Cancer Society. Published in The Courier-Journal on 7/29/2007.
