Charles Gretz Jr

Gretz, Charles George Jr.,79 was born February 12, 1936 to the late Charles G. Sr. and Elsie Bowles Gretz and returned to his Heavenly Father July 27, 2015. Mr. Gretz was a retired staff representative for United Steel Workers of America, past president of Louisville Labor Council and Tube Turns Local 6828, US Army veteran and a member of South Park Country Club and the old L&N Golf Club.Among those who preceded him in death include a daughter, Dana Marie Gretz; sisters, Dorothy Mae Johnson and Sue Paschal and his parents.He leaves to cherish his memory his beloved wife, Barbara Mueller Gretz; daughters, Karen Campbell and Laura Perdue (Jimmy); sister, Mary Ellen Nix (Rich); grandchildren, Thomas Grasch (Kayla), Andrea Campbell, Mackenzie and Hunter Perdue; great-grandchild, Savannah Grasch; a host of nieces, nephews, other family and friends.Funeral service will be held 10 a.m. Saturday in the chapel of Schoppenhorst Underwood and Brooks (Preston Highway at Brooks Road and use John Harper entrance) with interment in Louisville Memorial Gardens West.
