SCHRADER, CHARLES C. SR, 88, passed away Tuesday, August 7, 2012 at the Masonic Homes.
Charles retired from American Standard as a plant manager after 34 years and Paramount Foods as a personal director for 17 years. He was a mason, Plumb Lodge 862 and Army World War II veteran.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 66 years, Marie Traynor Schrader.
He is survived by his children, Charles C. Jr. (Linda), Arthur L. Schrader (Kim) and Peggy Thornhill (Wallace); six grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
His funeral service will be held Friday 11 a.m. at Joseph E. Ratterman & Son, 7336 Southside Dr. with burial in Louisville Memorial Gardens-West. Visitation 2-8 p.m. Thursday.
The family would like to thank the staff of the Masonic Homes of Louisville for their loving care of their dad.
