STEELSMITH, CHARLES WAYNE "BUMPER,"69, of Shively, passed away Monday March 7, 2011 at Baptist Hospital East. He was a native of Lebanon, IN, a former employee of Alberhasky Roofing and the Arctic Ice Co., and a catholic by faith.
He is survived by his wife of 51 years, the former Anna Starr; a daughter, Tammy Wilson (Vernon II); a grandson, Vernon Wilson III, (Crystal), a granddaughter, Ashley Wilson; and a great grandson, Vernon Wilson IV.
A celebration of Charles' life will be noon on Friday at the Southern Home of Arch L. Heady & Son, 3601 Taylor Blvd. with burial to follow in Louisville Memorial Gardens West. Visitation will be 2-8 p.m. Thursday. Online condolences " www.archlheady southernfh.com
