SUTTON, BRO. CHARLES M., 82, went to his heavenly home on April 15, 2011 at Hosparus at Norton's.
He worked for the U.S. Postal Service, and was the former pastor of West Point Christian Church for 24 years, District Scout Executive for 9 1/2 years.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Della and Henry Sutton; sister, Nola Sims.
Survived by his wife of 60 years, the former Dorothy King; daughters, Linda Stinson, Laura Candris (Aris) and Lesa Sutton-Davis; sister, Helen Saylor; grandchildren, Glenn Stinson, Austin, Lauran and Krystin Sutton-Davis.
Funeral service is 2 p.m. on Monday at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dxie Highway with burial in Louisville Memorial Gardens (West). Visitation is 2 - 8 p.m. on Sunday.
