Weatherholt, Charles Edward View/Sign Guest Book ELIZABETHTOWN WEATHERHOLT, CHARLES EDWARD, 75, passed away Saturday February 2, 2008 at Norton Audubon Hospital in Louisville. He was born October 14, 1932 in Cannellton, IN, the son of Jess and Mary Tindell Weatherholt. He attended the Open Door Assembly in Elizabethtown. He was retired for over 20 years from Lorillard Tobacco Company. He was preceded in death by parents and stepmother, Ruth Weatherholt; his beloved wife, Kathryn, of 50 years; his daughter, Charlene Weatherholt; his grandson, Joshua Weatherholt; and his sister Anita Owens. He is survived by his devoted and loved wife, Edith C. Peters Weatherholt, of Elizabethtown; daughter, Darlene Sage (John), of Big Clifty, KY. Son, Dewayne (Diane) Weatherholt, of Coxs Creek, KY; daughter, Mary Kay Johnson (Mike), of Mount Washington, KY; five stepchildren; four grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; nine stepgrandchildren; eight stepgreat-grandchildren; brothers, Bro. Alfred Weatherholt, of Tell City, IN, Leroy Weatherholt (Lois), of Louisville, Fred Weatherholt, of Newtonville, IN, Marvin Weatherholt, of Rockport, IN and John Slater, of Tell City; sisters, Shelia Bartlett (Morris), of Santa Claus, IN and Barbara Sturgeon of Rockport; and several loving nieces and nephews. Services will be held noon Tuesday at Manakee Funeral Home in Elizabethtown. Burial will be at the Louisville Memorial Gardens in Louisville.
