APPLEBEY, CHRISTINE (SWANNER), 78, passed away January 20, 2012 at University Hospital.
She was a homemaker and preceded in death by her husband of 48 years, Donald B. Applebey; and sister, Juanita Groves.
She is survived by daughters, Anita Martin (Ronald), Lisa Frank (Scott), and Karen Stewart ( Kenny); a son, David Applebey (Cindy); grandchildren, Nicole Lauyans (Steve), Kristi Shields (James), Kayla Applebey, Justin Frank, Haley Adcock, Chelsea and Christen Stewart; great-grandchildren, Mason and Landon Lauyans, and Olivia Shields; brother, James Swanner Sr.
Funeral service is 1 p.m. on Monday at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Highway with burial in Louisville Memorial Gardens (West). Visitation is 2-8 p.m. on Sunday and after 10 a.m. on Monday.
