Erb, Christine (Winters) View/Sign Guest Book ERB, CHRISTINE (WINTERS), 84, of Louisville, passed away, after battling Alzheimer's, Friday, March 21, 2008, at Sts. Mary & Elizabeth Hospital. She was born in Lyon County, KY. She was a distributor for Fuller Brush Company. She was a member of the Bright Star # 16 Eastern Star, was a past worthy matron for the Eastern Star, past president of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary. She was a published poet and songwriter. She loved to play any game. She played by the rules (Including Life) and played fairly. She loved Euchre and Pinochle and was seldom ever beat at Scrabble. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Martha Timmons Waddle; son, William "Billy" Timmons; and husband, William Erb. She is survived by her daughters, Reba Hogan (Ron) and Mary Heuser (Gilbert); 13 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews. Her funeral service will be 1 p.m. Monday at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Hwy. with burial in Louisville Memorial Gardens West. Visitation will be 1-8 p.m. Sunday and after 10 a.m. Monday until service. Memorial gifts may be made to the Alzheimer's Association. Published in The Courier-Journal on 3/22/2008.
