DENNIS, CLARENCE W. JR., 90, passed away Monday July 9, 2012 at Sts. Mary & Elizabeth Hospital.
A native of Terre Haute, IN, he was an Army veteran of World War II, where he received the Purple Heart. He was a chemical operator who retired after 38 years with B.F. Goodrich. Clarence was the number one St. Louis Cardinals fan and U of K fan.
He is survived by his loving wife of 68 years, Catherine (Graf) Dennis; one son, Doug Dennis (Brenda); one daughter, Cathy Elstone (Bob); two sisters, Mary Myers and Donna Jackson; four grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
His funeral will be noon Thursday at Owen Funeral Home 5317 Dixie Hwy., with entombment at Louisville Memorial Gardens West. Visitation will be 2-8 p.m. Wedne
