ROOTS, CLARENCE E. "SLIM," 88, of South Louisville, passed from this life on Saturday January 14, 2012 at Sts. Mary & Elizabeth Hospital.
He was retired from Reynolds Metals and a member of Chapel Park Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his wife, "Bea" Roots; and a son, Gary Roots.
He is survived by a son, Ted Roots (Theresa); a daughter-in-law, Teresa Roots; brother, Earl Roots; and grandchildren, Kasey, Nick, Theresa, Ted, Rhonda, and Michael.
A service to celebrate Mr. Roots' life will be held at noon Wednesday at the Southern Chapel of Arch L. Heady & Son, 3601 Taylor Blvd., with burial to follow in Louisville Memorial Gardens West. Visitation will be 2-8 p.m. Tuesday. Online condolences at www.archlheadysouthernfh
