BARKER, CLAUDE A., 88, of Louisville passed away Tuesday July 24, 2012 at the Hosparus Inpatient Care Center, Claude served in the U.S. Army during World War II, is a member of St. Paul Catholic Church and a Teamster of Local #89. He retired from the old American Standard Company.
Survivors include his children, David Barker (Kathy), Tom Knight (Teresa) and Sandy Rogers (Phil); sisters, Dortha Caster, Pauline Watson and Charlotte Gilpin; nine grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
Funeral Mass will be held 9:30 a.m. Friday at St. Louis Bertrand Catholic Church, 1104 S. Sixth St., with burial in Louisville Memorial Gardens West. Visitation will be 2-8 p.m. Thursday at the Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Hwy.
