HARKINS, JEWELL CLIFFORD "SQUEAKY," 81, passed away March 31, 2012.
He served in the National Guard and retired from Ford Motor Co. after 33 years of service. He was a Mason and Shriner.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Velma Colleen (Denton) Harkins.
He is survived by a daughter, Gaila Lee; son, Steve E. Harkins (Sandy); sister, Virginia Thornberry; and two grandchildren, Kyle and Lauren Harkins.
Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday, April 4, 2012 at Neurath-Schoppenhorst Funeral Home, 1832 W. Market St., with burial in Louisville Memorial Gardens West. Visitation is Tuesday, from 2-8 p.m. at Neurath-Schoppenhorst.
Family would like to give a special thanks to Springhurst Health and Rehab for the love and excellent care received.
