Clorena Alvey

ALVEY, CLORENA M. "BLONDIE," 82 of Louisville passed away Saturday April 5, 2014 at Glen Ridge Rehabilitation Center. Born in Taylor County, she was the former Clorena Cox. She was a former member of St. Clement Catholic Church and St. Raphael Catholic Church. She was preceded in death by her husband William C. Alvey; and her son Richard Alvey. She is survived by three grandchildren, Angela Miller (Mickey), David Alvey (Karolyn) and Amy Alvey; great grandchildren, Preston, William, Lila and Nolan; daughters-in-law, Pat Alvey and Nancy Alvey; nieces and nephews Linda Jenkins (Charles), Pam Ames and her son Tony, Jennifer, Andy, and Emily Dumstorf, Chris, Shannon, Ashton and Ella Jenkins and Robert and Juanita Waddell and many other family and friends. Her funeral Mass will be noon Tuesday at Holy Family Catholic Church 3926 Poplar Level Road. Burial will be at Louisville Memorial Gardens West. Visitation will be Monday from 2-8 pm at Owen Funeral Home-Jeffersontown 9318 Taylorsville Road. Expressions of sympathy may be made to The Wounded Warriors.
