Clyde E. Stanley, 86, loving husband to Margaret (Peggy) Cecil Stanley, passed away Monday April 21, 2014 at Norton Audubon Hospital. He was born in Larue County, KY to the late Clyde and Edna Howell Stanley on June 17, 1927.
He was also preceded in death by his brother Elvin Stanley.
He was a Navy veteran of WWII and the Korean War. He retired from Chevron USA with 38 years of service.
Besides his wife of 65 years, he is survived by his daughters, Patricia Stanley (Larry), Joyce Carter, JoAnn Lusky (Ned), Teresa Lynn "Terry" Stanley , and one son, David Stanley along with three grandchildren, John Lusky, Larkin Lusky, and Cade Stanley and his mother Angelia Stanley. He is also survived by a sister Thelma Rogers.
A private family service was held.
Expressions of sympathy are requested to Kosair Children's Hospital or St. Jude Hospital.
