Connie Hansbrough

Connie Milliner Hansbrough, 71, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Tuesday, September 27, 2022, at Norton Audubon Hospital after battling a long illness.

Connie was preceded in death by her daughter, Natalie Carter; her father, Mark Anthony Milliner; her mother, Ruth Milliner Straub; and her stepfather, Richard Straub.

Left to cherish the sweet memories of Connie’s life and carry on her precious memories is her loving husband, David Hansbrough; her son, Jonathan Hansbrough; her sister, Anita Bryant, her brother, Mark Anthony, Jr.; her grandchildren, Austin Lee Shoenbachler, and David Carter, Jr; along with many nieces and nephews.

Connie and her family are extremely grateful to the staff at Norton Audubon Hospital for their compassion and assistance.

Connie was known affectionately by Gran and absolutely loved being a grandma. Her family was the center of her life. She was a simple woman and loved working crossword puzzles. Connie had a passion for Major League Baseball, but her absolute love was Little League Baseball.  She was loved by all that knew her and will be greatly missed.

A graveside committal service will be held at 2PM on Wednesday, October 5, 2022, at Louisville Memorial Gardens Cemetery West, 4400 Dixie Highway.
