Mattingly, Cora Louise View/Sign Guest Book MATTINGLY, CORA LOUISE, 83, of Louisville, passed away Wednesday, February 6, 2008 at Christopher East Health Care. She was a loving wife to her husband of 66 years, Anselm Mythias Mattingly, and will be missed dearly. Cora was a volunteer with Saint Anthony Catholic Hospital and Trinity High School. In addition to her husband, Cora is survived by her sons, Joe and Kevin (Missy) Mattingly; daughter, Beverly (Don) McCartin; grandchildren, Stephanie Stortz (Scott), Robert Mattingly (Kathleen), Jason McCartin, and Andrew Mattingly; great-grandchildren, Rose and Jacob Mattingly; brothers, George "Jr." (Betty) and Kenneth (Jeanette) Shuck; and sister, Merle Frazier. Funeral Mass will be 10 a.m. Saturday at Saint Barnabas Catholic Church, followed by burial in Louisville Memorial Gardens West. She was the former Doris Kieffer and retired after 30 years as secretary for J.B. Ratterman & Sons Inc. She had been a member of St. Columba Catholic Church and was a current member of Church of Our Lady. She was preceded in death in 1999 by her loving husband of 50 years, George E. Mattingly. Survivors include two daughters, Kathy Schuchard (David) and June Fowler (Billy); four grandchildren, Davey and Christopher Schuchard, Sherry Page (Mitch) and Erica McDaniel; and one great-grandson, Turner Page. She was the former Dorothy Frankrone, a retired analyst with the US Census Bureau. Dorothy is remembered for sharing her joyful spirit, lots of laughter and singing with her family and extraordinary caregivers. A very heartfelt thank you goes to each of you at Episcopal Church Home. She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas J. Mattingly; and sisters, Angela Kingsbury and Helen Shaffner. She is the beloved mother of Sarah "Sally" Mattingly, Donald B. Mattingly and Cynthia L. Mattingly; beloved sister of Leonard Frankrone (Mary), Mary Rita Pike, Ruth Habenstein and Eunice Mullen; and beloved grandmother of Jacob A. Mattingly and Kelly Nicole Hemming.
