Corey Michael Blankenship

Corey Michael Blankenship, 22, of Louisville, son of Shannon L. Blankenship Chandler & George Allen Robertson, died Friday, February 1, 2019 at his residence. Corey was born April 26, 1996 in Louisville and was a 2015 graduate of Iroquois High School. He was a self made man possessing many talents. Among them he was a certified welder and plumber and was very well versed in small engine repair among other things.

Besides his parents he leaves to cherish his memory, sisters, Kali Masden (Austin Kelly), Brooklynn Chandler and Dawn Gail Robertson, grandmothers, Juanita Angelini & Paula Dean Robertson, great grandfather, Bob Blankenship, aunts, Heather Pickhard, Christy Pickhard & Brandy Crabb, uncles, Brian Little and Kyle Boyd, special cousin, Tyler Blankenship and the love of his life, Shelby Redmon. Several other aunts, uncles and lots of special, loving, extended family and friends are left behind to remember the big “Momma’s Boy” who walked in a room and lit up with his wit and humor. He was such a giving and caring person who will be missed by all that ever knew him.

Corey was preceded in death by his step-father, Brian Chandler, grandfathers, Dennis Morris and Buford Robertson, great grandmother, Mildred Blankenship and uncle, Joseph Blankenship.
